The Road to Vietnam

Hello and Welcome to our blog! This is our first entry and should be considered solely as an introduction of the blog writers and an overview of our journey. Given the fact we have not landed in Asia yet, this will probably be a relatively short post. Nonetheless, our excitement is brewing and we cannot wait to land. In order to keep this post to the point, we thought it would be an appropriate way to introduce ourselves by just writing a quick line about what we are currently thinking on our flight to korea.

Gabe: I wonder if they'll have bulgogi at the Seoul airport during our layover?

Feesh: I wish I had wi-fi so I could talk to Flam!

Lipshutz: I am asleep, warm, and comfortable. This is turning out to be a great trip so far!

Now that we've supplied you with a little about our current status, we'd like to give you a small overview of what we will be doing over the next 2 months. We will be landing in Ho Chi Minh City tonight after a a layover in Seoul where the Wolf Pack will start their high adventure through the cities and jungles of the Asiatic world. We will be moving up from Ho Chi Minh City all the way to Hanoi with a few stops in between followed by a stint in Laos and Chiang Mai before hitting up Bangkok. From Bangkok we will be going to Angkor Wat in Cambodia for a few days before flying to Hong Kong. Hong Kong will lead into Shanghai, Xi'an, and finally Beijing. After all this, we will head to our final destination of Seoul (sup Nate and Wolfish) for the final leg of trip before we come home to our wives and families state-side.

Hopefully we will be able to update our blog frequently, but who knows what will be.

Sincerely The Three Mouseketeers,
Gabe, Feesh, and Lipshutz

Update: We are currently sitting in the Seoul Airport (which is lovely) waiting for our flight to Vietnam. I will post pictures as soon as we have some good ones.

  3. Check out the Medical Museums and the Synagogues....Call the local Chabad...they really are everywhere and a good place to check in and say you were there. In addition, in each city/country, check out what they call "medical schools."
    HAVE FUN YOU TRAVELLERS THREE!
